IND vs SA 2nd Test Match : The first day’s play of the Guwahati Test match between India and South Africa has ended. After winning the toss at Barsapara Stadium, South Africa came to bat first and scored 247 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. During this, Tristan Stubbs played an inning of 49 runs and captain Temba Bavuma played an inning of 41 runs. Meanwhile, after being far behind in the two sessions, the Indian team bowlers did wonders in the final session. Kuldeep Yadav’s spin left South African batsmen in trouble.

South Africa, who came to bat first, gave a great start in the first innings with openers Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton. After this, both the batsmen were expected to return unbeaten till the tea break but in the last over of the session, Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Markram (38). At the beginning of the second session, Kuldeep Yadav helped India achieve its second success by taking the wicket of Rickelton (35). After this no wicket was found in this session. The pair of Temba Bavuma and Tristan Stubbs faced the Indian bowlers tremendously in this session.
Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets
The bowlers from the Indian team have bowled brilliantly so far. Kuldeep Yadav has taken maximum three wickets. Apart from this, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja have taken one wicket each. However, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy have not yet achieved success. From the bowling point of view, today was Kuldeep Yadav’s day and he brought relief to the Indian team by taking three wickets.
