On the Waqf Amendment Bill, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari attacked the government, “This bill has been passed from both the houses of Parliament. However, it has not been signed by the President. After this it cannot be implemented as this. It will not have to go through the process of legal battle. This bill passed in Parliament is not constitutional in any way”.

Sonia Gandhi raised questions on the intention of the government

Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi has sharply criticized the government on this bill. He accused the government of passing it arbitrarily. Sonia said that this bill is an attack on the Constitution. The BJP wants to divide the society and polarize it. On these allegations of Sonia, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla termed Sonia Gandhi’s remarks inappropriate. The speaker said that this is not good for the dignity of Parliament and is unfortunate.
