This time the reason is to increase the help of help for flood affected families of Punjab. We all know that Punjab is struggling with the most severe floods for many decades these days. Along with the Sutlej, Beas and Ravi rivers, the boom in seasonal drains has caused havoc in many districts like Amritsar, Patiala and Ferozepur. This disaster that came after heavy rains has destroyed the lives of thousands of families.
Relief campaign
Amidst these situations, Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation along with the local NGO of Punjab is delivering relief kits to about 1,500 families. These relief kits include essential things like essential medicines, food items, mosquito nets, torpolin sheets, cotton mattresses and folding beds. Due to this relief, the needs of the victim families are currently being met.
