Bihar Election: Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asked the voters of Bihar to press the EVM button on the BJP’s election symbol lotus. So that the return of ‘Jungle Raj’ during RJD rule can be prevented. Shah accused the Lalu family of destroying the state. He promised that if the NDA returns to power, the government will spend Rs 26,000 crore to use Kosi water for irrigation and prevent floods. Addressing an election rally in Darbhanga on Tuesday, Shah alleged that people should press the ‘Lotus’ button to stop the return of ‘Jungle Raj’ that ravaged Bihar during the 15-year rule of Lalu-Rabri. He said that only NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can take Bihar towards all-round development.
IT park in Darbhanga will provide employment to youth
The former BJP president said Rs 26,000 crore would be spent to use Kosi river water for irrigation of Mithilanchal and prevent floods in the region. He said that if NDA remains in power in Bihar, people of Mithila, Kosi and Tirhut will not have to go to Patna or Delhi for treatment, as they will get quality medical facilities at Darbhanga AIIMS. Shah claimed that 3.60 crore people have been covered with free health insurance worth up to Rs 5 lakh crore, while the IT park in Darbhanga will provide employment to the youth. He criticized the RJD for its complaint to the Election Commission, demanding withdrawal of the Rs 10,000 benefit for ‘Jeevika Didis’. He alleged that Lalu’s three generations would not be able to snatch away the funds transferred to self-help groups. Reiterating that RJD-Congress have insulted ‘Chhathi Maiya’, the Prime Minister and his mother. Shah said that the people of Bihar will avenge the insult by throwing out such political parties in the upcoming elections.
Teach a lesson to those who insult ‘Chhathi Maiya’
Shah said that the people of Bihar never forgive those who insult ‘Chhathi Maiya’. RJD-Congress will be wiped out in Bihar elections. Said that RJD and Congress leaders take out time to visit all kinds of places abroad, but they do not get time to go to Ayodhya. If they hate Lord Ram so much, they can go to see the monuments built in the memory of Nishad Raj and Valmiki. Shah said that the North Bihar region of Mithila was known for goddesses like Sita, Bharati and Gargi in ancient times. Shah said that from this land of great women, I want to congratulate our daughters who have made us proud by winning the Cricket World Cup. Highlighting the achievements of women in various spheres of life, Shah said that those making fun of the slogan of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” must be feeling embarrassed for disrespecting the women of the country so much. I would like to tell our mothers and sisters who benefit from NDA’s welfare schemes to beware of ‘Jungle Raj’.
