Speculation of strong SP leader Azam Khan to visit this party

SP Leader Azam Khan: There is no question of Azam Khan Sahab’s joining any other party. He has been with the Samajwadi Party and will always be.

SP leader Azam Khan: Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav on Tuesday rejected speculation as rumors that the founding members of the party Azam Khan could join the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). This comment came in the SP government soon after former Uttar Pradesh cabinet minister Khan was released on bail after nearly two years of imprisonment. Mr. Yadav while talking to PTI from Jhansi said that there is no question of Azam Khan Saheb joining any other party. He has been with the Samajwadi Party and will always be. Yadav said that the SP and his leadership have always stood with Khan Saheb and will continue to be further. As far as they are involved in one party, they are just rumors.

Reports of leaving party baseless

He said that Azam Khan has been implicated in fake cases. He said that we all know who was behind it. He said that he will soon meet Azam Khan. Shivpal Yadav said that the court has granted him bail. We thank the courts. Hundreds of fake cases were registered against him. SP’s MP from Muzaffarnagar Harendra Malik also said that the news of Khan’s leaving the party is baseless. Malik said that Azam Khan is the founding member of SP. He is a very big leader. All the news of his going to another party from SP is baseless. Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said in a post on X that even if Khan goes to the BSP, it will not have any impact on the BJP’s possibilities in the 2027 assembly elections.

Battle will continue against injustice: Akash

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that whether Mohammad Azam Khan stays in SP or goes to BSP, the defeat of both SP and BSP is certain in 2027. Reacting to bail from the court to Khan, BJP’s Rampur MLA Akash Saxena, who has filed several cases against the SP leader, said that his fight against injustice will continue. He told PTI-language that we have always respected the judiciary. Whether Azam Khan Saheb stays in SP or go with BSP, our fight against injustice will continue. It is known that SP leader Azam Khan has been one of the most influential people in Rampur district of western Uttar Pradesh for more than three decades.
