Stepen and free canteen with training to youth of UP

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has launched the Dual System of Training (DST) scheme in state industrial training institutes to train the youth according to the needs of the industry.

Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has launched the Dual System of Training (DST) scheme in state industrial training institutes to train the youth according to the needs of the industry. In this sequence, MoU has been signed under the Dual System of Training between Government Industrial Training Institute Aliganj, Lucknow and Tata Motors Lucknow.

This will prove to be a new chapter in the field of mOU skill development and employment. In the coming time, it will not only benefit the trainees, but will also provide efficient workforce to industrial units. The biggest benefit of this agreement will be given to those youth who are looking for jobs and there is a desire to do something in future. The historic agreement was signed towards connecting training with employment, which shows the seriousness of the Yogi government regarding employment. Youths who are training in these businesses will also get practical experience to work in the industry. Under this scheme, trainees will get job opportunities in industrial units.

13 businesses involved

The agreement includes 13 businesses, including fitter, electrician, electric power distribution, electronics mechanic, instrument mechanic, welder, MMV, mechanic diesel, tractor mechanic, diesel mechanic, copa, painter general and wireman. Youths who are training in these businesses will get practical experience to work in the industry.

Benefits of DST Scheme: Trainees will be sent to the industry

  • 3 to 6 months for 1 year course.
  • For 2 -year course, 6 months to 1 year, along with free canteen, bus facility and about 8500 rupees per month stipend.

Industrial experience will be available along with technical education

Signing the historic agreement towards connecting training with employment, Principal of ITI Aliganj, Raj Kumar Yadav said, “This partnership is a historic opportunity for our trainees. The association with a reputed company like Tata Motors will get technical education as well as industrial experiences.

This will give them excellent employment opportunities. While Tata Motors head HR Jasneet Rakhra said, “This agreement with the Government Industrial Training Institute Aliganj is a matter of pride for us. Through this dual training model, we will prepare the youth according to the needs of the industry. This will not only benefit the trainees, but will also provide efficient human resources, which will help us in the country and expand the country.
