Suniel Shetty Rejected Movies: Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar have worked together in many hit films. This onscreen pair will soon be seen in the hit franchise ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Work is going on on Filhal ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Both of them worked together in films like ‘Dhadak’, ‘Mohra’, ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, ‘De Dana Dan’ and ‘Aun: Main at Work’. However, few people know that Sunil Shetty has rejected Akshay’s film which grew up at the box office. Not only this, it became a hit franchise.
Sunil left a big film
Actually, in the year 2008, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Singh is King’ was released. Sunil Shetty was offered the role of Lakhan Singh alias Lucky for this film. Later, this character was played by Sonu Sood. It is being told that Sunil Shetty had rejected the reason for the lack of dates to work in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Singh is King’.

Work was going on on second film
In an interview, ‘Singh is King’ producer Vipul Shah revealed that Sunil was working on his production house’s film ‘Mission Istanbul’ in those days. The shooting dates of both films were getting clashed. Sunil Shetty was to go to Australia for 25 days to shoot ‘Singh is King’. However, it was not possible for Sunil to stay away from his home production venture for so long. This is the reason why he turned down the offer of this film. If this did not happen, the fans would have seen Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar together in another film.
Akshay’s film was a big hit
Sunil Shetty’s film ‘Mission Istanbul’ did not receive special response at the box office, but Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Singh is King’ proved to be a blockbuster. In the year 2015, the second part of this film was made named ‘Singh is Bling’ and it was also a hit. Currently, apart from ‘Hera Pheri 3’, Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar will also appear in a comedy film like ‘Welcome to the Jungle’.
