In fact, in Prayagraj, the houses of a lawyer, a professor and three women petitioners were demolished by bulldozers in 2021. At the same time, while hearing the matter, SC said that the process of demolishing the house was unconstitutional. The court further said that this arbitrary process of demolishing the house is also an insensitive violation of civil rights.

Demand for compensation

On this matter, the court said that such stories keep us shocking. There is also something called Right to Shelter. In this connection, the court said that there is something of the notice and other proper procedure, which was not followed. In this episode, the court has ordered the Prayagraj Development Authority that the victims should be given compensation of Rs 10 lakh. The court said that the way the vandalism has been vandalized, compensation is being imposed due to that inhuman and illegal action.

Justice Ujjal Bhuiyan made a statement

Hearing the case, Justice Ujjal Bhuiyan said that while referring to the incident in Ambedkar Nagar in Uttar Pradesh, bulldozers were being run on the huts on one side during the anti -encroachment campaign, while an 8 -year -old girl was running away with her books on the other side. This picture surprised everyone. This situation is very worrying, where illegal vandalism is being done and people involved do not have the ability to do construction work.

No notice was received

Significantly, according to the petitioners, they did not get any notice before the action. At the same time, the bulldozer was run within 24 hours of sending the notice. The petitioners say that they were issued a notice on March 1 in the first March 2021, they received a notice on 6 March. Then the next day on March 7, bulldozer action was taken on houses.
