SC on Stray Dogs: Today the Supreme Court is going to give its verdict regarding stray dogs in the capital. Earlier on August 14, the Special Bench reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of all the parties.

SC On Stray Dogs : The Supreme Court had given a big verdict in view of the increasing terror of dogs in Delhi-NCR. But after this decision, there was a ruckus of the people. Since then, the petitions filed were heard by a special bench of three judges of the Supreme Court and reserved the verdict, after which the court will give its verdict today. Let me tell you that the first 3 -member bench had instructed the Delhi government to remove stray dogs from the roads of the capital within 8 weeks, which caused a lot of ruckus.

Will the order be restored or will be stopped?

Explain that the Supreme Court had earlier ruled to send stray dogs to the shelter home against which a petition was filed. Taking cognizance of the matter, a bench of three judges was formed and it was demanded in front of them that the decision to keep stray dogs in the shelter home should be stopped, after which the court reserved the verdict after hearing. Now the court will issue an interim order and give its verdict.

The Supreme Court had given instructions earlier

Significantly, there was a fierce protest in many places regarding this decision of the Supreme Court. But in view of the increasing case of dog byte, many big instructions have been given.

In the directive given, the court had directed that NCT should start removing stray dogs soon from Delhi, MCD and NDMC. After this, he said that stray dogs will be caught and kept in the shelter home and at the same time a record should be made. Apart from this, the Supreme Court had sought a report on the infrastructure of Shelter Home in NCR in 2 months. Enough people for sterilization and vaccination for stray dogs in dog shelters. Stray dogs will not be left in any public places. If any person prohibits stray dogs or in the government’s work, then strict action should be taken against him.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the court

Earlier, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had put before the court that no one hates animals. He wants to solve it. The court is emphasizing on the solution of this problem. He further said that children are dying of dog attacks. The incidents of dog bites are not stopping due to sterilization. Many such shocking cases are coming up daily in the country. We just want to say that no one hates animals. But security is necessary.
