Team India is going to play a five-match T-20 series against Sri Lanka and this series will start from Visakhapatnam on 21st December. Meanwhile, the biggest question that has arisen is whether Smriti Mandhana will be seen in the field in this series. Series from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh tour canceled
Before the announcement of the series against Sri Lanka, Team India was going to tour Bangladesh, but keeping in mind the recent political developments, BCCI canceled the tour. After this the board announced a series of five team matches against Sri Lanka. This series is not just a competition for India but is also important for the preparation of the T20 World Cup to be held in 2026. In the last tournament, the Indian team was out after the initial stages, when the team had to face heavy defeats against Australia and New Zealand. However, after this, Team India made a comeback and defeated England 3-2 and West Indies 2-1.

- Second T20I – 23 December (Visakhapatnam).
- 3rd T20I – 26 December (Thiruvananthapuram).
- 4th T20I – 28 December (Thiruvananthapuram).
- Fifth T20I – 30 December (Thiruvananthapuram).
