Aimim chief: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday launched a big attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son Tejashwi Yadav. Asaduddin Owaisi accused the requests of the alliance before the Bihar assembly elections. He said that the party only insisted on behaving equal and did not express any desire for the post of minister. The Hyderabad MP made this comment at a rally held in Kishanganj district, where the Muslim population is good. The rally was held as part of his four -day ‘Seemanchal Nyaya Yatra’. He said that our Bihar president Akhtarul Iman wrote three letters to Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav expressing our desire to join India block.
Said- 6 seats asked, not found reply
Owaisi said that we had demanded only six seats. We are not interested in any ministerial post. We only wanted us to treat us in a joint fight against BJP and RSS, not like slaves. But so far no response has come from their behalf. Bolding the RJD’s apathy responsible, Owaisi said that Bihar has a lack of dedicated leadership. The AIMIM chief claimed that unlike every caste, Muslims do not have their leaders. You can find leaders of Yadav, Kushwaha, Kurmi, Manjhi, Rajput, Paswan and all other castes. But Muslims have no leader for themselves.
Five seats won in the last election
It is known that Owaisi’s party won five seats in the last assembly elections, but all the MLAs except the Imam joined the RJD after a few years. He asked that when Tejashwi can dream of becoming the Chief Minister, why can’t the young leaders of Seemanchal become? He said that we took this step so that we are not accused of helping the BJP. With the RJD not getting proper response, it will be clear who is actually helping the BJP. AIMIM contested 20 seats in the last assembly election and won five of them. It is known that Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj and Katihar districts are included in the Seemanchal region. The number of Muslims in these districts is more. Owaisi also addressed public meetings in Araria district under his ‘Seemanchal Nyaya Yatra’.
