Gautam Gambhir: After the Indian team’s 0-2 defeat in the two-Test series against South Africa, questions were raised on head coach Gautam Gambhir. Meanwhile, an Afghanistan player Rahmanullah Gurbaz has come out in support of Gautam Gambhir. He said that his former mentor Gambhir is the best coach and he is quite surprised by his criticism. Criticism of Gautam Gambhir is not right: Gurbaz
At the same time, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, a player of KKR, the winning team of IPL 2024, said that Gautam Sir’s criticism is not right. Also, before ILT20, he said in an interview that out of 1.4 billion people of your country, 20 or 30 lakh people may be against him but the rest of the people are with Gautam Gambhir and the Indian team. He further said that Gautam sir is the best coach, mentor and human being. I like his way of working very much. India won the Champions Trophy ODI tournament, won the T-20 World Cup and also won the Asia Cup under his guidance. Team India also won many series, but after losing a series, they should not be evaluated on this basis and they should not be made guilty.
We won the title because of the good atmosphere in the team
Gurbaz said that Gautam Gambhir’s biggest strength was that he created such an environment in KKR in which players played their game without pressure, with discipline and leisurely pace. He said that we got to learn a lot under his guidance and when the atmosphere in the team is good, you always aspire to reach the top. This is the reason why he created such an environment in the team due to which we could win the IPL 2024 title. He is not strict, but quite disciplined. Afghanistan player said that due to poor performance the players need support the most. He said that as a player, I will not blame any cricketer because when he comes on the field, he tries to give his best. What if you lose on the field?
