In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has again issued an alert for heavy rain. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many states of North India. Especially in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Schools in Delhi have also been closed due to heavy rains. Landslides are being seen in the hilly areas due to rain, while in many places including Delhi, river-drains are in spate and there is a threat of floods.

In view of the situation, the IMD has issued rain alert in many states for today. During this time, this series will be mediocated for a few days with thunderstorms and electricity with heavy rains. The next is the possibility of heavy rains for 24 hours.
Things may deteriorate in Himachal-Uttarakhand
During this period, along with Mandi, Una, Kangra, Bilaspur, Sirmaur and Kinnaur of Himachal, he has been warned of heavy rains in Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Nainital, Pauri, Garhwal, Tehri Garhwal, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Champawat in Uttarakhand.

There will be heavy rain in UP-Bihar
Along with the mountains, there will be havoc in the plains. For this, IMD issued an alert and appealed people to stay in homes. In this episode, there will be heavy rains in its surrounding areas including Mathura, Agra, Meerut, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, Sambhal, Bandayun and Etawah in western UP. Rain alert has also been issued in the districts around Kishanganj, Begusarai, Purnia and Katihar in Bihar.
Schools closed in Delhi
At the same time, schools have been closed in Delhi today, issuing alert for strong rains with thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the capital, after which the administration in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad has ordered the closure of schools from nursery to 12th.
