Accusing the Congress leader of exaggerating the figures 60 lakhs, Yadav claimed that the basic argument of Gandhi’s claim turned out to be wrong.
New Delhi: The BJP on Friday made fun of Rahul Gandhi’s revelations in support of the allegations of rigging in the Maharashtra assembly elections. The BJP claimed that the Congress and its allies won most of the seats where the number of voters had increased. Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav accused Gandhi of using unfair threatening accents for the Leader of the Opposition and said that he had warned the officials of the constitutional institution like the Election Commission (EC) to bear the consequences for his alleged role in helping the ruling BJP. Citing the Election Commission data, Yadav said that the number of voters in the voter list for the Maharashtra assembly elections last November had increased by more than 40 lakhs as compared to the Lok Sabha elections held early that year, not one crore, as Gandhi has claimed.
Rahul’s claims wrong
Accusing the Congress leader of exaggerating the figures 60 million, Yadav claimed that Gandhi prepared for a long time to present his case, but the original argument of his charge turned out to be wrong. The BJP leader said that from now on, all his claims should be judged by 60 percent. Taking the names of several assembly constituencies like Madha, Mohol, Nagpur West and Nagpur North, where the Congress and its allies won, Yadav said that the number of voters has increased in these seats. Yadav told reporters that those who continue to question Maharashtra are the Congress and its allies. Those who won most of the seats where the number of voters increased, this rejects Rahul Gandhi’s principle.
Rahul give affidavit to Election Commission
The Union Minister also said that Gandhi was claiming that the evidence he would present would be like a “atomic bomb”. He accused Gandhi of using an egoistic and threatening accent against the Election Commission, saying that it was as if someone was cutting the same put on which he is sitting. Yadav said that if the Congress leader really has objections to the election process, then he should file an affidavit to the Election Commission by giving an affidavit. Yadav said these things in front of the media on Thursday in the context of the presentation described by Gandhi in the 2024 general elections in the 2024 general elections in the Bangalore Central Lok Sabha seat of Karnataka. Accusing the opposition of disrupting Parliament, he said that Rahul Gandhi’s method is “lying and running”. The purpose of change in voter list in Bihar is to run away from discussion.
