US Military Action : The Venezuelan government on Thursday approached the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and requested an emergency session. Venezuela has accused the US of recently targeting Venezuelan boats in coastal waters. Meanwhile, Venezuela wrote a letter to Russia’s Ambassador to the United Nations and Council President Vasily Nebenzia and alleged that the administration of US President Donald Trump ousted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. At the same time, peace, security and stability are being threatened at the regional and international level.

Boats had left by sea
The Venezuelan President said that our country has to advance its regime change policies to gain control over the existing vast natural resources. Venezuela’s request does not mention the 21 people killed in four attacks on boats that the US claimed were carrying drugs. Trump says that these three boats had left Venezuela by sea and Russia has been a long-time ally of Venezuela. Meanwhile, Madure has expressed fear that America may soon attack Venezuela and is eager to take over the country’s resources due to its years-long desire. Meanwhile, he has written a letter to the UNSC requesting it to immediately intervene in this matter and an emergency meeting can also be called on this matter.
