VHP on the road against Murshidabad violence, nationwide protests, demand for President’s rule in Bengal

New Delhi/Kolkata: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday staged a protest across the country against the communal violence for amending the Waqf Act in Murshidabad, West Bengal and demanded immediate imposition of President’s rule in the state. Protests took place at other places including Murshidabad, Delhi and Noida, in which VHP members claimed that law and order in the Mamata Banerjee-ruled state has completely collapsed, where at least three people lost their lives in clashes last week.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) general secretary Bajrang Bagda led a protest at Nangloi Chowk in Delhi, condemning the violence in West Bengal. In Noida, the VHP took out a rally raising slogans against the Trinamool Congress government of West Bengal under the leadership of its national spokesperson Vinod Bansal. Bansal told PTI-Bhasha, “Protests were held at many places across the country except Punjab, as the Trinamool Congress is running a cycle of harassment and repression of Hindus in association with Bangladeshi-Rohingya intruders.” The recent incident of violence in Murshidabad is a ‘Vibhat forms’ in Bengal under the supervision of Trinamool (a’ ongoing atrocity on Bengal under the supervision of Trinamool.

Bansal said, “The VHP also demands that land grab in the name of Waqf should be stopped immediately and a high-level inquiry of the assets earned in the name of Waqf is ordered. He also said,” We also demand that the officers identify Bangladeshi-Rohingya intruders in West Bengal and remove them (from the country). Strict action should be taken against the culprits of violence in Murshidabad.

Hindus are being forced to escape from their homes in Murshidabad

He said that VHP will protest similar protests in Delhi and Punjab on Monday. Talking to PTI, Bansal claimed that Hindus were being forced to flee their homes in Murshidabad, where a father and son were brutally murdered as they had made idols. Bansal told PTI video, “We wonder where such hatred against Hindus. The Chief Minister invites ‘jihadi’ forces for meetings, but does not speak a word on atrocities against Hindus. We condemn the way Hindus in the name of Waqf.

Said that a similar protest was also held in Murshidabad, in which the “targeted” violence that shook the district last week was condemned. Speaking to PTI video, a VHP leader involved in the protest said, “We are going to write a letter to the President of India and request them to intervene in the unstable and volcanic situation prevailing in Bengal with the active support of the state government and his police force. About 500 families in Murshidabad are forced to leave their homes and take shelter in a school in Malda.
