Vice President Election: The Election Commission has issued a notification for the election to be held on 9 September for the post of Vice President and the nomination process started.

Vice President Election : Elections for the post of Vice President are to be held on 9 September. Earlier, the Election Commission issued a notification regarding it on Thursday i.e. today, due to which the nomination process has started. According to the notification, the last date for filing nomination is 21 August and the documents will be examined on 22 August. At the same time, the last date for withdrawal of nomination is 25 August.

Jagdeep Dhankhar suddenly resigned

Please tell that former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar suddenly resigned from his post on July 21, after which this post was vacant. Dhankhar left the post citing health reasons. His term was to end in August 2027. However, according to constitutional provisions, if elections are conducted in the mead term, then the winning person gets a full 5 -year term.
