Bihar Election Second Phase Voting: The second and final phase of voting for Bihar Assembly elections 2025 is taking place today. More than 3.7 crore voters will cast their votes for their representatives.

Bihar Election Second Phase Voting: Voting will be held today, November 11, from 7 am to 6 pm in the second phase of the ongoing elections for the formation of the 18th Assembly in Bihar. In this phase, voting will be held on 122 assembly seats in 20 districts. The second and final phase of voting for Bihar Assembly elections 2025 is taking place today. More than 3.7 crore voters will cast their votes for their representatives. Today the fate of 1,302 candidates on 122 seats will be decided. 45,399 polling stations have been set up for voting.

PM appealed to make a new record

This time, a tough contest is expected between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) led Grand Alliance (MGA). The NDA includes JDU, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha and Rashtriya Lok Morcha along with BJP, while the grand alliance includes RJD, Indian National Congress, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and left parties. In the second phase, there will be a direct contest between the NDA and the regional parties associated with the Grand Alliance on most of the seats.

65 percent voting took place in the first phase

The first phase of voting held on November 6 saw 65.08 percent voting, which is the highest ever in the state’s assembly election history. This figure is much higher than the 57.29 percent recorded in the 2020 elections. In the first phase of voting on November 6, voting was held on 121 seats in 18 districts. Counting of votes for Bihar elections 2025 will start in the morning on 14 November and the results will be declared by evening.
