bathe and eat
Let us tell you that bathing and eating is the first day of Chhath Puja. On this day, bathing is done at home, river or pond. This time the festival of Nahay-Khay is to be celebrated on 25th October. On this day, sunrise time will be at 6.28 am and sunset will be at 5.42 pm.
Kharna
Kharna happens on the second day of Chhath. This time Kharna will be celebrated on Saturday 25th October. In such a situation, sunrise on this day will be at 6.29 am and sunset will be at 5.41 am. Nirjala fast is observed on the second day of Chhath. After living without water and food throughout the day, prasad of jaggery and rice kheer or puri is eaten in the evening at sunset. With this, the 36-hour Nirjala fast begins.

Shashthi- Evening Arghya
Shashthi or Chhath Puja which is the third and main day of the puja. On this day, women observing fast gather at the ghat on the banks of river or pond. In the evening, as soon as the sun sets, the devotees offer Arghya to the setting sun and worship Chhathi Maiya. On this day, thekua, fruits, coconut, sugarcane and other traditional offerings are decorated in bamboo baskets. Let us tell you that this time Shashthi will be celebrated on Monday 27th October. On this day, sunrise will be at 6.30 am and sunset will be at 5.40 am.
Usha Arghya and Parana
This day is the last day of Chhath Puja. Women observing fast on this day reach the ghat before sunrise and offer Arghya to the rising sun for the second and last time and pass the Prasad. This time Usha Arghya will be celebrated on Tuesday 28th October. On this day, sunrise time is at 6.30 am and sunset time is at 5.39 am.
