According to the news agency PTI, a Mumbai Police official said that a shocking case came to light from Chembur area of Mumbai on Saturday (May 31, 2025). The 46 -year -old husband had pressurized his wife to forcibly have sex but the wife refused. RCF police station official said that Dinesh Awhad wanted to have a physical relationship with his wife on Friday afternoon, but he refused, saying that he was getting late for work. After the wife refused, the husband was so enraged that she tried to burn his wife and scorch her seriously. On receiving the complaint, the police arrested the husband.

Only after the debate, the woman immediately picked up a bottle of kerosene and sprinkled it on herself, after which the woman started trying to burn matches but could not burn it. When the husband saw this scene, he got up and went to the kitchen and burnt a piece of kajag with the help of the stove and threw it on his wife. In this incident, the woman was badly burnt and was admitted to the hospital in a hurry. Currently, he is undergoing treatment in a municipal corporation’s hospital, whose information was given by an officer. It was told that on the basis of the complaint of the woman, her husband has been arrested for attempt to murder and other crimes under the provisions of the Indian Code. Users are raging on this matter on social media. Users are demanding that the woman’s husband be punished the harshest punishment so that he cannot commit such a crime again.
