The CBI had filed a charge sheet against Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and his son Tejashwi Yadav and others in connection with the alleged scam. The prosecution has alleged that appointments in the Group-D category in the West Central Zone of the Indian Railways located in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh were made during the tenure of Lalu Yadav as the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. It is alleged that these appointments were made in exchange for the pieces of land which were transferred as gifts by the job recipients in the name of the family members and associates of the Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo.
Appointments made between 2004-09
