Ram temple flag-hoisting: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday described the hoisting of the saffron flag at the Ram temple in Ayodhya as the beginning of a new era. Said that the light of religion is eternal. He was addressing a gathering after Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally hoisted the religious flag along with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Yogi said that the flag represents the vision of a developed India. Adityanath said that the country has gone through change in the last 11 years. Heritage and development are now in full existence. The Chief Minister said that the grand temple of Lord Ram is a symbol of faith, respect and self-pride of 140 crore Indians. He expressed his gratitude towards all the Karmayogis including the sages and saints who contributed in its construction.

Adityanath said that this auspicious day is dedicated to the unwavering devotion of those revered saints, warriors and Ram devotees who dedicated their lives in this movement and long struggle. The result of which came in the form of construction of the temple. The Chief Minister said that generations and regimes changed in the last 500 years, but people’s faith in Lord Ram neither stopped nor wavered. He said that the unwavering faith remained intact. When the struggle started under the leadership of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), only one resolution echoed in the entire movement: ‘Ramlala we will come, we will build the temple there’, ‘We will take lathi and bullets, but we will build the temple there’. Hoisting the flag is a sign that “the light of religion is eternal” and the values of Ram Rajya are timeless.
people’s resolve fulfilled
The CM said that this was a profound cultural moment for the nation. He thanked Prime Minister Modi, Bhagwat and UP Governor Anandiben Patel for their presence in this program. He said that when Narendra Modi took over the leadership in 2014, it ignited a sunrise of resolve and confidence in the hearts of millions of people. Adityanath said that today, that resolution has been fulfilled in the form of this grand Ram temple. He stressed that the flag above the Ram temple is a symbol of truth, justice, dignity and national religion. Adityanath said that it also represents the vision of a developed India as there is no alternative to this resolution. In the last 11 years we all have seen a changing India. He said that the hoisting of the flag is a symbol of the eternal light of righteousness and the eternal ideals of Ramrajya. Said that Ayodhya is transforming into a global center of faith, culture and sustainable development.
