CM Yogi, who reached Prayagraj on Thursday at the conclusion of Mahakumbh, made a big announcement for the sanitation workers. He said that a bonus of 10 thousand will be given to all the sanitation workers engaged in Mahakumbh, along with 16 thousand minimum wage and free treatment facility will also be given.

Arrangement will be implemented from April

Chief Minister Yogi said that the sanitation workers used to get eight to 11 thousand rupees a month earlier, now it will be increased to at least 16 thousand from April. Along with this, all the employees will also be given the benefit of public health insurance by connecting with Ayushman Yojana. All the workers working in Mahakumbh will get the benefit of free treatment up to five lakhs. From April, money will also be sent to the employees’ account. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that cleanliness workers used to get eight to 11 thousand rupees a month earlier. Now it will be increased from April to at least 16 thousand. Along with this, all the employees will also be given the benefit of public health insurance by connecting with Ayushman Yojana.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that our government has decided to give 10 thousand bonuses to cleanliness and health workers in Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The government will provide a minimum salary of Rs 16,000 to the cleaning workers from April. Temporary health workers will be sent directly to the bank and all of them will be linked to the Ayushman Bharat Scheme for health coverage, so that they can be treated free of cost.

Guinness World Record of Cleaning Campaign in Mahakumbh

It is known that the Uttar Pradesh government has set the Guinness World Record of the biggest coordinated cleaning campaign during Mahakumbh. CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak received the award on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Keshav Prasad Maurya, DGP Prashant Kumar and state cabinet ministers and officials also had food with the sanitation workers.
