Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Labor and Employment, Dr. Manasukh Mandavia on Sunday led the historic ‘Jai Bhima Padayatra’ in Patna, Bihar.
Delhi: Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports and Labor and Employment, Dr. Manasukh Mandavia on Sunday led the historic Jai Bhima Padayatra in Patna, Bihar. The padyatra was flagged off by Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav and more than 6 thousand Mai Bharat young volunteers participated in the padyatra. This padyatra was a lively tribute to Babasaheb’s life and heritage, which emphasized the participation of youth and permanent values of the constitution.
Prakash put on Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s leading contribution
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr. Mansukh Mandavia emphasized the strength of the youth of India and called upon him to become a pioneer of Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy to build a new India. The Union Minister urged the youth of the country to take inspiration from the foresight, heritage and exemplary works of Babasaheb Ambedkar and other great leaders in a visit to India towards developed India. He highlighted Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s leading contribution in ensuring equal rights for women in early 1947.

Said that the time when gender equality was not recognized in many parts of the world. Calling the younger generation to take a pledge to follow the ideals of these national symbols, Dr. Mandavia reiterated the importance of national development led by the youth. He appreciated the decisive leadership of Narendra Modi and called upon the youth to add himself to the creation of a strong, self -reliant and inclusive developed India. Jai Bhima Padayatra was organized at the entire country, capital and five thousand places, where the volunteers of Mai India cleaned the idols of Dr. BR Ambedkar and paid tribute to Dr. Ambedkar’s everlasting approach.

On the other hand, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Smt. Raksha Nikhil Khadse participated in Jai Bhima Padayatra in Mumbai, which further increased the message of unity and national participation. The collective reading of the preamble of the Constitution by those who achieve young achievements and Mai Bharat volunteers confirms commitment to constitutional values. Mai Bharat young volunteers actively participated in the padyatra and echoed the spirit of social harmony, democratic values and inclusive progress through energetic and cardiovascular slogans. On this occasion, the volunteers of Mai India sang songs dedicated to Dr. BR Ambedkar, which filled the padyatra and enthusiasm in the padyatra.
Wreath on Baba Saheb’s picture and paid homage
At the conclusion of the padyatra near the Patna High Court, Dr. Mansukh Mandavia along with other leaders participated in the cleanliness drive around the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar. After this, he garlanded the picture of Babasaheb and paid homage to the creator of the Indian Constitution. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, former Union Minister and Patna MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of State Nitin Nabin and Surendra Mehta, Members of Parliament, Mrs. Shambhavi Chaudhary, MLA, Mrs. Shreyasi Singh and Legislative Councilor Sanjay Mayukh were present on the occasion.
