Bihar Police Exam: In Bihar, the anger of the students erupted about the demand for issuing the notification of Daroga Recruitment Examination before the elections. Thousands of competitive students took to the streets of Patna. During this time, the police lathi -charged the students going towards the Chief Minister’s residence at the Income Tax intersection, which injured many students. Candidates interested in Bihar protested here on Monday and broke security barricades demanding to declare the date of the Daroga and Constable Recruitment Examination in the state, after which the policemen lathi -charged them. The protesters with placards in their hands gathered near the Dak Bungalow intersection of Patna and raised slogans against the government. The protesters were demanding the announcement of total vacancies and exam date for the recruitment of constables in Bihar Police.
Many protesters injured in lathicharge
Talking to PTI, SSP Karthikeya of Patna said that the protesters gathered at a large number of postal bungalow intersection and disrupted the movement of vehicles there. They also broke the police barricades and reached the Kotwali police station, which is a restricted area. He also said that we requested him to vacate the area because it caused heavy traffic jam. When he did not pay attention to the appeal, the police lathi-charged them to disperse them. Candidates interested in the job claimed that many protesters were injured in lathicharge. In Patna, the candidates took out a foot march from Patna College demanding to conduct the police and constable recruitment examination early. Hundreds of candidates were moving towards the Chief Minister’s residence, but the police barricaded the Dak Bungalow intersection.
Government accused of ignorance
The police tried to convince the candidates a lot but they did not stop. Meanwhile, many candidates reached the Kotwali police station. Candidates were trying to move forward but the Patna Police stopped them near Kotwali. The police explained a lot but when he did not agree, he lathi -charged. During this time, the policemen were seen running the candidates and beating them. At the same time, the candidates said that efforts are being made to suppress the voice of us. A woman’s leg broke during lathicharge. Many candidates have been injured. Said that in spite of all this, we will remain stuck. Candidates say that there has been no restriction for almost two years. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is continuously announcing from many forums. However, no meaningful step is being taken by BPSSC in this direction. The government is not paying attention to the demands of us.
