BJP Leader: The politics of Bengal has heated up due to the attack on BJP MLA and opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari. It is said that TMC workers attacked the MLA’s car. BJP MLA and leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Sunday alleged that TMC members attacked his car in South 24 Parganas district, where he had gone to participate in Kali Puja and Diwali celebrations. The officer alleged that attempts were made to stop his car at at least seven places and the attack took place in front of Lalpur Madrasa. Said that on Sunday I had to face repeated attacks by illegal Bangladeshi Muslims in South 24 Parganas district. Alleged that the obstruction, vandalism and anarchy was organized by none other than TMC Zilla Parishad member Rekha Ghazi with the aid and support of SP Koteshwar Rao.

People raised ‘Jai Bangla’ slogans

He made this allegation while sharing an alleged video of one of the incidents in a post on X. Said that I was not going to participate in any political program, but as a Hindu, I was going to participate in Kali Puja and Diwali celebrations. He said that people standing near his car were heard raising slogans like ‘Jai Bangla’. Despite the disruptions, BJP leaders went ahead with their scheduled program of inauguration of Kali Puja pandals. BJP leader Adhikari said that this area is adjacent to Bangladesh. Due to which TMC has given permission to infiltrators to settle in Bengal. Can a Hindu not freely participate in any religious event in the state of West Bengal without facing hindrances from fundamentalists?

Said- not afraid of TMC

Said that they cannot scare me, I will come back even during Jagaddhatri Puja. TMC spokesperson Jai Prakash Majumdar claimed that the common people protested against the officer because they are angry with the BJP. He said that these poor people have reached the verge of starvation due to deprivation of funds by the BJP led government at the Centre. He said that BJP leaders should be careful. People are angry all over Bengal, in every village, market and street. Bengal knows how to protest and BJP leaders will have to face such protests everywhere.
