Enrique Iglesias: Mumbai was colored in a different color last night. In fact, global pop sensation and Grammy Award winner Enrique Iglesias performed live in Mayanagari for the first time. On Wednesday night, more than 25,000 fans danced to his classic hits at the MMRDA Ground in Bandra-Kurla Complex. In this concert Enrique sang his most popular songs. The whole atmosphere was filled with party vibe with superhit songs like ‘Hero’, ‘Bailamos’ and ‘Bailando’.
Have been to India before too
Enrique Iglesias has come to India for the third time. He came for the first time in 2004 and again in 2012. However, this was his first live concert in Mumbai, so the enthusiasm of the fans was worth seeing. At around 8:20 pm, when Enrique Iglesias came on stage wearing a black outfit and his signature cap, the crowd welcomed him with applause and cheers. He started the concert with songs like ‘Subeme La Radio’ and ‘Freak’. Then one after the other his hit tracks forced the fans to dance. In between he said from the stage, Namaste Mumbai, raise your hands! Then what, the whole ground started dancing together. When Enrique Iglesias sang ‘Hero’, everyone was seen dancing with mobile flashlights.

Last night became memorable for many fans. At the same time, many celebrities like Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, Malaika Arora, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Rahul Vaidya, Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Banerjee were present at Enrique Iglesias’ Mumbai concert. At the end, Enrique Iglesias ended the concert on a high note with his hit number ‘Baby I Like It’ amidst fireworks. It can be said that this first night of Enrique Iglesias in Mumbai was not just a concert, but a memory. It had a perfect combination of music, emotions and old tunes.
