Jayant’s coronation in Mathura session, new direction of RLD decided

Mathura Adhiveshan: Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary was elected national president unopposed in the Rashtriya Lok Dal convention held in Mathura on Sunday.

Mathura Adhiveshan: Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary was elected unopposed as the national president in the Rashtriya Lok Dal convention held in Mathura on Sunday. On this occasion, Jayant Chaudhary said that we stand strongly with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Prime Minister Modi has given me a big responsibility. Taking a dig at the opposition, Jayant Chaudhary said that today they have a family but do not have a leader or policy, hence they are failing. Chaudhary urged the party workers to carry forward the policies of former Prime Minister, farmer leader and his grandfather Chaudhary Charan Singh and said that his 125th birth anniversary will be celebrated by planting 1.25 crore saplings across the country.

He said that talking about villages, farmers and the poor is the key to RLD’s victory. In a post on Twitter, the party chief said that I express my heartfelt gratitude to the workers, office bearers, public representatives and people present at the Rashtriya Lok Dal convention held in Kosi, Mathura for being elected as the National President. Jayant Chaudhary asked the party leaders to cooperate in promoting women also. He said that women will soon get the benefit of reservation. In the conference, the Union Minister also promised to start the closed sugar mill located at Chhata. Meanwhile, RLD National Secretary Anupam Mishra said in a statement that the National Conference of 2025 was successfully concluded on the sacred and historical land of Mathura. He said that this conference is important in many ways.

Economic proposal passed in the conference

Mishra said that an economic proposal focused on farmers was passed in the conference. A social resolution addressed to youth and women was also brought. Apart from this, a political resolution recognizing India’s growing global stature was unanimously approved in the conference. Mishra said in the statement that RLD is fully committed to raising the voice of every section of the society, especially the poor, farmers and laborers. RLD is a constituent party of the ruling NDA. At present it has two MPs in the Lok Sabha and one in the Rajya Sabha. RLD has nine MLAs in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, while the party has one MLC in the state Legislative Council.
