The ninth edition of PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is about to come, for which the registration process has started. According to Education Ministry officials, the ninth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s discussion on the annual examination will be held in January 2026, for which registrations are open till January 11, that is, children can register to meet the Prime Minister till January 11.
Students from 6 to 12 can register
“Pariksha Pe Charcha is back with its ninth edition. Students, parents and teachers from India and abroad will discuss exam stress with the Prime Minister and celebrate exams as an important part of life,” a senior official said. To select participants, from December 1 to January 11 MyGov You can register on the portal. You will have to answer multiple choice questions on the website. Students, teachers and parents from class 6 to 12 can participate in this competition. Children can also submit their question by writing in 500 words.
5 crore people took part
In 2025, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ created a wonderful Guinness World Record, in which students from more than 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries and parents from 149 countries participated. This program has grown from just 22,000 participants in the first edition in 2018 to 3.56 crore registrations in the eighth edition in 2025. Along with this, 1.55 crore people took part in the mass movement activities across the country related to ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ 2025, taking the total participation to about 5 crore.
Initiative inspires children to think positively
The eighth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ was telecast on 10 February this year. The interaction was held in a new innovative format at Sunder Nursery in the national capital, which was attended by 36 students from different states and union territories, representing government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools and CBSE schools. In Pariksha Pe Charcha, children are counseled on topics like sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, finance, creativity and positivity, in which inspirational things are told from well-known personalities.
