New Babri Mosque: Humayun Kabir said that he will organize a feast of meat and rice for those who participated in the foundation stone laying of the mosque. He has also announced to organize Quran recitation.
New Babri Mosque : Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Humayun Kabir on Saturday laid the foundation stone of the new Babri Masjid on the lines of the mosque demolished on December 6, 1992 in Rejinagar in Murshidabad district of West Bengal amid tight security. Since then the suspended MLAs are in controversies. In this series, he has made another big announcement. He said on Sunday that he will organize Quran recitation with about one lakh people on February 1, 2026. On the other hand, a group of sadhus organized a program to recite Bhagwat Geeta in the voice of 5 lakh people.
Will recite Quran with one lakh people
Humayun Kabir said that he will organize a feast of meat and rice for those who participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the mosque. Apart from this, while talking to the journalists, he said that I will organize the recitation of the Holy Quran with one lakh people in February. After this the construction work of Babri Masjid will start. After the birth of this controversy, Sanatan Sanskriti Sansad, a group of sadhus and spiritual leaders of various monasteries and Hindu religious institutions, organized the Panch Lakho Konthe Geeta recital at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. Let us tell you that before next year’s assembly elections, Kabir has chosen Murshidabad district to polarize Muslim votes and from here he will also blow his election trumpet.
War broke out between TMC and BJP
After the foundation stone of the new Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of polarization, while the party in power in the state rejected these allegations as baseless. Senior BJP leader Amit Malviya, in a post on X account, alleged that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is using an MLA to polarize Muslims to gain political mileage. Also, the news coming from Beldanga is a matter of great concern. He claimed that Kabir’s supporters were seen carrying bricks for the construction of the alleged Babri Masjid and for this they also had the support of the police. Malviya described Beldanga as the most sensitive area of the state and said that there could be a lot of unrest here in the coming times.
