Filmfare OTT Awards 2025: The grand program of Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 took place on 15 December in Mumbai. Here the stars of the world of digital entertainment were seen shining together. This was the sixth edition of this awards, in which the best talent of web series and OTT films were awarded. Many big celebs like Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal attended this special evening and many artists also received the ‘Black Lady’ trophy.

This year there was a glut of content on OTT platforms, but some shows and films really stood out. In the series category, ‘Black Warrant’, ‘Paatal Lok Season 2’ and ‘Khauff’ were the most discussed. Among web original films, ‘Girls Will Be Girls’, ‘Stolen’ and ‘Sector 36’ left a deep impression.

These shows won
‘Black Warrant’ was given the Filmfare OTT Award 2025 for the Best Series (Direction and Technical Categories). Jaideep Ahlawat won the Best Actor (Male, Drama) award for ‘Paatal Lok Season 2’. At the same time, Ananya Pandey won the title of Best Actress (Comedy Series) for ‘Call Me Bay’. Monica Panwar was chosen best actress for ‘Khauff’ in the drama category. The evening also featured Rahul Bhatt, Tilottama Shome, Vinay Pathak and Renuka Shahane in supporting roles. ‘Khauff’ and ‘Paatal Lok Season 2’ also dominated the technical awards. That means, awards like Best Cinematography, Background Music, Sound Design and Editing went to the account of these shows.
Names of original films
‘Girls Will Be Girls’ received the Best Web Original Film award in the film category. Shuchi Talati was chosen best director for this film. In terms of acting, Abhishek Banerjee (‘Stolen’) and Sanya Malhotra (‘Mrs.’) won the title of Best Actor and Actress. Vikrant Massey and Preeti Panigrahi were also awarded in the Critics category. Apart from all this, new faces were also recognized in the Breakthrough Performance Awards. Anurag Thakur and Lisa Mishra made their presence felt in the series, while Shubham Vardhan and Archita Aggarwal made their strong presence felt in the web films. Overall, the Filmfare OTT Awards 2025 made it clear that story, acting and technique have now reached a new level on digital platforms. This evening of Filmfare OTT Awards came as a great celebration of the growing power and creativity of streaming platforms.
