Delhi AQI: A slight relief was felt in the air of New Delhi on Saturday morning. There was a slight improvement in the pollution level this morning. In such a situation, the average air quality index (AQI) of the country’s capital remained 261 in the poor category. This is slightly better than the 290 recorded on Friday. According to the data of Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), this improvement may be small, but it is a ray of hope for Delhi struggling with pollution.
Whole Delhi is not clear
However, there is no relief in the entire city. The condition of Anand Vihar is still the worst. The AQI level here was recorded at 415, i.e. in the serious category. This figure shows that the air of Anand Vihar still remains a danger to breathe. Apart from this, 7 monitoring stations of Delhi recorded very poor category. At the same time, the air in other areas remained in poor category. That is, despite improvements, the air of the capital is still not fit to breathe.

After this i.e. between 401 to 500 its category is considered to be of serious level. Talking about the weather, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature of the capital was recorded at 16.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is 0.3 degrees less than normal.
maximum temperature
The maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius. The weather department has predicted light fog and mist in the morning and clear sky in the afternoon. By the way, with the changing weather of Delhi, the pollution level is also fluctuating. Experts say that the slight increase in wind speed and drop in temperature has helped in reducing pollution slightly. However, this is the time for the people of the capital to take precautions. For this, avoid morning walks, increase the use of air purifiers in homes and take measures to protect children and elderly from pollution.
