PM Narendra Modi: On Saturday, on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, Prime Minister Modi will give a gift of Rs 14,260 crore to the state. Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects. Modi will participate in the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the formation of Chhattisgarh on Saturday (November 1). On this occasion, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 14,260 crore. The Prime Minister will reach here at 9.40 am on Saturday and will go to Shri Satya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, where he will interact with 2,500 children who have been successfully treated for congenital heart diseases at the ‘Gift of Life’ function. In the statement issued by the government, it has been said that at around 10.45 he will inaugurate the ‘Shanti Shikhar’ of Brahma Kumaris. After this, he will unveil the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the newly constructed Chhattisgarh Assembly complex in Nava Raipur. Modi will also inaugurate the new assembly building where he will address the gathering.
Will participate in Chhattisgarh Silver Mahotsav
The statement said that at around 1.30 pm the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Memorial and the Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Nava Raipur. Modi will unveil the equestrian statue of martyr Veer Narayan Singh. After this, the Prime Minister will participate in the Chhattisgarh Silver Mahotsav to commemorate the completion of 25 years of the formation of the state. The statement said Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 14,260 crore covering key sectors such as roads, industry, healthcare and energy. He will inaugurate 12 new Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP) blocks in nine districts. He will lay the foundation stone for construction and upgradation of NH-130D (Narayanpur-Kasturmetta-Kutul-Nilangur-Maharashtra Border) in Bastar and Narayanpur districts. Modi will also inaugurate nine new power substations built at a cost of about Rs 480 crore in districts like Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Bemetara, Gariaband and Bastar.
Will lay the foundation stone of the pharmaceutical park
The PM will inaugurate HPCL’s (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) state-of-the-art petroleum oil depot in Raipur, built at a cost of over Rs 460 crore with a storage capacity of 54,000 kiloliters (KL) for petrol, diesel and ethanol. He will also dedicate the 489 km long Nagpur-Jharsuguda natural gas pipeline built at a cost of about Rs 1,950 crore. Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone of two smart industrial areas – one at Siladehi-Gatwa-Birra in Janjgir-Champa district and the other at Bijletla in Rajnandgaon district. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone of a pharmaceutical park in Sector 22 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of five new government medical colleges in Manendragarh, Kabirdham, Janjgir-Champa, Geedam (Dantewada) and Government Ayurveda College and Hospital in Bilaspur.
