Attack on Biden
Trump used the announcement to say the shooting was a “terrorist attack” as he criticized the Biden administration for allowing Afghans who served with US forces during the Afghanistan war to cross into the US. Trump further said, “We must now, under the Biden Administration, re-verify every foreigner who has come to our country from Afghanistan.
The attacker worked with CIA
Trump said the shooter was mentally unstable. The President said, “He had gone mad. This happens often with these people.” The shooter worked with the US Army in Afghanistan. The name of the accused of firing is Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who is 29 years old. According to sources, the suspect had previously worked in a special Afghan army unit supported by the CIA.
‘Will have to pay the price’
Trump warned in a statement on social media that the “animal” who shot the Guard members “will pay a very heavy price.” Trump wrote on Truth Social, “God bless our great National Guard and all of our military and law enforcement. These are truly great people. I, as President of the United States, and everyone associated with the Office of the Presidency, are with you!” The Trump Administration immediately ordered 500 more National Guard members to be sent to Washington after the shooting.
