Dhurandhar True Story: The trailer of ‘Dhurandhar’, one of the much awaited films of this year, has been released. The trailer of this Ranveer Singh starrer film is being discussed everywhere. The dangerous and heart-wrenching scene of Arjun Rampal shown in the beginning of the trailer is forcing the fans to think. After this, many blood splattered looks of Ranveer Singh, action sequences of Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt are making the trailer of ‘Dhurandhar’ even heavier. Amidst all this R. Madhavan’s character ‘Ajay Sanyal’ also seemed quite impressive. This is Aditya Dhar’s first film after ‘Uri’, this is also one of the reasons why fans are very excited about ‘Dhurandhar’.
When will it be released?
‘Dhurandhar’ will be released in theaters on December 5, 2025. There is also news that ‘Dhurandhar’ may be released in two parts. By the way, apart from Ranveer Singh, veteran actors like R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna and Arjun Rampal are also in lead roles in the film. Apart from this, Sara Arjun will be the leading lady along with Ranveer. Every character in the film has been defined differently, like Ranveer Singh has been called ‘The Wrath of God’. Akshay Khanna got ‘The Apex Predator’, Sanjay Dutt got ‘The Jinn’, R. Madhavan as ‘The Charioteer of Karma’ and Arjun Rampal as ‘The Angel of Death’.

Based on true story?
Even before the trailer launch, the makers of ‘Dhurandhar’ had made it clear that this film is inspired by true events. Earlier it was being said that Ranveer Singh’s role is inspired by the young days of NSA Ajit Doval. However, in the trailer R. Madhavan’s look and character appeared to change this theory. Madhavan’s ‘Ajay Sanyal’ look and way of talking are both similar to Doval. On the other hand, it is also discussed that Ranveer’s role can be inspired by the country’s bravest Para Special Force officer Major Mohit Sharma. Major Sharma had infiltrated Hizbul Mujahideen in Kashmir under the name Iftikhar. He was awarded Ashok Chakra in the year 2009.
Sanjay’s role
Sanjay Dutt’s role is similar to that of Karachi Police’s dashing encounter specialist SP Chaudhary Aslam. He lost his life in the TTP bomb attack in 2014. At the same time, Akshaye Khanna’s character is said to be inspired by ‘Don Abdul Rehman Baloch’, who was killed in an encounter in 2009. Arjun Rampal’s look looked the scariest in the trailer. Overall, ‘Dhurandhar’ is all set to give full entertainment to the people with its explosive action, powerful characters and spy-thriller genre. However, the budget of this film is said to be Rs 250 crore. Now, how well ‘Dhurandhar’ with big budget and big stars will perform at the box office, will be known on 5th of next month.
