He expressed confidence that the NDA will get a record -breaking majority in the upcoming assembly elections in the state with the excellent development initiative of the Modi government for Bihar. Talking to reporters in Patna, the senior BJP leader said that the Ganges of development is flowing in Bihar, which includes the inauguration of youth schemes worth Rs 62,000 crore by the Prime Minister. Minister Chauhan said that there has been a shower of gifts on Bihar. The Prime Minister’s gift was amazing and unprecedented. Chauhan was speaking in Patna soon after the ceremony held in New Delhi. On this occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Emperor Chaudhary and others participated virtually.

Makhana product gets boost

Chauhan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister and Nitish ji, Bihar has seen the Ganges of development, which has become an example in front of the world. The Union Minister said that I am in Patna on Saturday to participate in ‘Makhana Festival’. The Prime Minister has promoted this famous product of Bihar by establishing the Makhana Board. Such events bring opportunities for investment and employment generation. The minister further said that we are developing such seeds through which Makhana can also be cultivated in shallow water bodies. This will make things very easy for farmers. We are also helping them in packaging and branding. And it is also important to say that Makhana is not the only product for which the state is getting help from the Center.

Disagreement over Rahul Gandhi’s statement

Chauhan, who has been the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh many times, took a sarcasm on the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, to declare RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav as the chief ministerial candidate. The minister said that one leader is here, the other is sitting abroad, not ready to accept it. Indirectly, Chauhan, while mentioning Rohini Acharya, the daughter of RJD president Lalu Prasad, said that the one who donated kidney (to his father) is now being weakened in power hunger. The Union Minister also expressed his disagreement over Rahul Gandhi’s statement about the attack on democracy in India during his visit to America and said that it is a sin to speak bad about his own country on foreign soil, which the people of India accept. Chauhan was also asked about the praise of the efforts of US President Donald Trump to bring peace in Gaza by the Prime Minister. The Union Minister took a pinch and said that all efforts to restore peace should be welcomed.
