Shreyas Iyer Injury Update: BCCI has issued a health update regarding Team India’s brilliant player Shreyas Iyer. He got injured while taking a catch in the match against Australia, after which he was admitted to the ICU and now he has been taken out of the ICU. His condition is now stable. Giving an update, the BCCI medical team said that it will take time for him to recover completely and he will be unable to play for about three weeks.

Shreyas Iyer was injured while taking the catch of Alex Carey during the third ODI match between India vs Australia. During this time his left ribs got injured. In the medical report from BCCI, it was found that his spleen had ruptured. However, at present his condition is stable and he is recovering.
