The actress died at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest on November 6, 2025 at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. Sulakshana Pandit’s brother Lalit Pandit has made this news official. Sulakshana Pandit, born on July 12, 1954, belonged to a family where music resonated. His uncle Pandit Jasraj was a famous classical singer. Sulakshana also debuted in the music world at the age of just 9.

Sulakshana Pandit entered the world of acting in the year 1975. The name of her first film was ‘Uljhan’, in which she worked with Sanjay Kumar. After this he worked in many films like ‘Sankoch’, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Khandaan’, ‘Dharm Kanta’, ‘Chehre Pe Chehra’, ‘Saajan Ki Saheli’ and ‘Apnapan’.
