Shubman Gill: Good news has emerged for the Indian team amid the ODI series. During rehab, COI has given fitness certificate to Shubman Gill and he will be a part of the team in the T20 series.
Shubman Gill: Indian team’s Test and ODI cricket captain Shubman Gill was declared completely fit by the BCCI Center of Excellence (COI) after completing his rehab. Now he is a perfectly fit player for all formats. According to doctors, Gill has not only completed his rehab but has also fulfilled all the criteria to return to the cricket field. It is being said that Gill was closely monitored till he became completely fit and after that his fitness was declared satisfactory. Meanwhile, it is expected that he can be seen in the T-20 series against South Africa.

Shubman Gill has been selected in Team India for the T-20 series starting from 9th December. Gill has also been given a certificate of fitness by COI and he will also be a part of the T-20 series to be held on December 9. While announcing the team, BCCI had said that Shubman Gill’s availability was only pending for the certificate from COI, but now he has been declared fit and he has also been included in the team. Gill was injured while batting in the first innings during the Kolkata Test against South Africa. Then he retired hurt and went out of the field and did not come on the pitch to bat again.
The series will start from December 9th
After this, Gill was not fit to play in the second Test and after that he could not participate in the three ODI series. India kept the series level at 1-1 by winning the matches in Ranchi and South Africa in Raipur. Gill had reached BCCI’s Center of Excellence this week for rehab. Let us tell you that a three-match ODI series is being played between India and South Africa. At present the series is tied at 1-1 and the third ODI match being played on Saturday will decide which team will control the series. Let us tell you that the first match of the T-20 series starting on December 9 will be played in Cuttack. After this, the second match will be played in Chandigarh on 11 December, Dharamshala on 14 December, Lucknow on 17 December and the final match will be played in Ahmedabad on 19 December.
