This day also has a connection with pumpkin. Pumpkins are also made scary on Halloween. An orange pumpkin is hollowed out and eyes, nose and mouth are made in it. After this, a candle is lit in the pumpkin and it is hung on a tree or outside the house. It is believed that this prevents spirits from entering the house.
