Swap under Istanbul Agreement

He said both sides had agreed to activate a prisoner exchange deal brokered in Istanbul to release 1,200 Ukrainians. At present Moscow has not made any comment in this matter. The ‘Istanbul Agreement 2022’ refers to the prisoner-exchange protocol brokered by Turkey, since then Russia and Ukraine have exchanged thousands of prisoners, although so far the exchanges have not been significant.
