Defense Minister Rajnath Singh: Addressing soldiers in Bhuj, Gujarat, Singh said that India’s fight against terrorism across the border will continue.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that the Indian Army successfully achieved all the objectives of Operation Sindoor. He said that the purpose of Operation Sindoor was not to start a war with Pakistan. Addressing the soldiers in Bhuj, Gujarat, Singh said that India’s fight against terrorism across the border will continue. The Defense Minister performed ‘Arms Puja’ on the occasion of Dussehra. In his speech, Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to infiltrate India’s defense system during Operation Sindoor, but the Indian Army exposed the Pakistani air defense system and gave a message to the world that it could cause heavy damage to the opponent. He said that during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan tried unsuccessfully to infiltrate India’s defense system from Leh to Sir Creek. He said that however, in retaliation, the Indian Army completely exposed the Pakistani air defense system and gave a message to the world that the Indian Army can cause huge damage to Pakistan whenever he wants.
The fight will continue against terrorism
Defense Minister Singh said that India took restraint as its military action was against terrorism. He said that increasing terrorism and waging war was not the purpose of Operation Sindoor. I am happy that the Indian Army has successfully achieved all the military objectives of Operation Sindoor. But our fight against terrorism continues. In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India started Operation Sindoor on 7 May, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan -controlled areas. After these attacks, there were fierce clashes for four days, which ended with consent to stop military action on 10 May. Singh said that in the 1965 war, the Indian Army had demonstrated the ability to reach Lahore. Today in 2025, Pakistan should remember that a way to go to Karachi passes through the Bay. The Defense Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensure better coordination between the three armies.
Pakistan surrounds border dispute
Singh said that this was the solidarity of our armed forces who carried out Operation Sindoor in a record time. Today, on this occasion, I want to give special congratulations to my brave soldiers and officials for the success of Operation Sindoor. He said that your strategy, your courage and your ability have proved that India is capable of defeating the enemy in every situation. I am confident that the courage of all of you, the might of all of you will continue to protect the sovereignty and integrity of India. The Defense Minister said that when these three services work together, only then we will be able to face every challenge effectively. Singh has been performing arms worship on Dussehra for the last several years, including his tenure as Union Home Minister in the previous NDA government. The Defense Minister also mentioned the border dispute between India and Pakistan over Sir Creek. He said that India has tried to resolve this issue through repeated talks, but Pakistan’s intentions are wrong and unclear. He said that his intentions are revealed by infiltration into areas adjacent to Sir Creek.
