Meanwhile, a news has come out that Bihar’s famous singer Maithili Thakur can also contest this time. Since the meeting of BJP leaders Nityanand Rai and Vinod Tawde, there have been speculations that have been revealed on which their statement has come out. She said that if she gets a chance, she will definitely contest elections.

Methili can contest elections

Maithili Thakur is 25 this year. If the BJP gives them tickets in 2025, then there are two seats from where Maithili can get a chance. The first seat is Benipatti and Maithili are from there. Benipatti seat is considered to be a stronghold of Brahmins according to caste. From here, the Brahmins who won or lose in elections have been from caste. On this, Maithili said that if she gets a ticket from BJP, she will not want to leave it. She also said that she wants to work for the people of her region. Both Darbhanga and Madhubani are like their homes. If the party gives a chance, she would like to contest from Alinagar or Benipatti seat.

Controversy over Alinagar seat

Maithili has expressed his desire to contest from Alinagar seat of Darbhanga. This seat is currently the MLA of Mishri Lal Yadav of BJP. It can be a little difficult to choose a candidate for BJP on Alinagar seat. This is because the current MLA Mishri Lal Yadav was recently caught in a case of horsepower and was questioned by the EOU team of Bihar Police. Due to this dispute, BJP is considering other options in Alinagar.

How is history of Benipatti

Please tell that in the year 1972, Madhubani district was formed. Since then, Tej Narayan Jha has won elections in 1972, 1977, Yugeshwar Jha 1980, 1985, 1990 and February 2005. Vinod Narayan Jha won from BJP in the year 2010. Bhavna Jha, daughter of former MLA Yugeshwar Jha, won from Congress in 2015.
