Karnataka Politics: Priyank Kharge has urged the Karnataka government to ban the activities of RSS in government institutions. Especially in government schools, it should be stopped immediately.
Karnataka Politics : In Karnataka politics, Congress and BJP keep attacking each other. This is the reason why both keep making political allegations and counter-allegations. Meanwhile, Karnataka government minister Priyank Kharge urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to ban all activities of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in government institutions and public premises in the state. He said that the activities of such organizations are against the unity of India and the spirit of the Constitution. At the same time, he wrote a letter to the Chief Minister on October 4 alleging that RSS is running shakhas in government and government-aided schools as well as in public places, where negative thoughts are inculcated in the minds of children by raising slogans.
Thoughts against the unity of India
The CMO shared this letter with the media on Sunday. Also in the letter, the Chief Minister asked the officials to consider this and take appropriate action in this regard. Priyank Kharge said that the ideology of RSS is contrary to the ideals of India’s unity and secularism. The minister wrote that when divisive forces that spread hatred among the people raise their heads, they attack our Constitution. Gives us the right to curb such elements and maintain the secular values of the nation. He alleged that without taking permission from the police, they carry out aggressive demonstrations with sticks in their hands.
Branches in government institutions should be closed
Calling for strict action from the Karnataka government, Kharge said that for the welfare of the country’s children, youth, public and the entire society, I humbly request that all types of activities run by RSS be banned. He further said that this ban should extend to government schools, government-aided schools, public playgrounds, parks, temples under the Muzrai Department, sites under the Archeology Department and any other government premises. He stressed that the Constitution empowers both citizens and the state to take action against forces promoting divisiveness. So that secular and democratic values remain safe in the entire state. Let us tell you that Kharge has written a letter to the government at a time when big events have been planned across the state last year as part of the RSS centenary celebrations.
