BJP 2nd List: NDA on Wednesday released the second list of candidates for Bihar Assembly elections. BJP has released the list of 12 more candidates. Apart from folk singer Maithili Thakur, the name of famous IPS officer Anand Mishra is also there. Maithili Thakur was given membership of the party by BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal on October 14. At the same time, after not getting BJP ticket from Buxar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, former IPS officer Anand Mishra had also left Jansuraj and joined BJP a few months ago. Now BJP has given him the ticket. BJP has given tickets to 9 women in the first list. These include Sweety Singh from Kishanganj, Nisha Singh from Pranpur, Gayatri Devi from Parihar, Devanti Yadav from Narpatganj, Kavita Devi from Kodha, Shreyasi Singh from Jamui, Rama Nishad from Aurai and Aruna Devi from Warsaliganj.

BJP changed candidate from Patna Sahib
This time the top leadership of BJP has changed the candidates of Patna Sahib, Kumhrar and Danapur assembly seats. Sanjay Gupta has been given the ticket in place of outgoing MLA Arun Sinha from Kumhrar, Ratnesh Kushwaha has been given the ticket in place of Nand Kishore Yadav from Patna Sahib and former MP Ramkripal Yadav has been given the ticket from Danapur. Wednesday was a very important day regarding Bihar assembly elections. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination. There is talk of Khesari Lal Yadav’s wife also contesting the elections. JDU has released the candidate list of Muzaffarpur for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. LJP leader and former candidate Komal Singh has been made the candidate from Gaighat, while JDU leader Ajay Kushwaha has got the ticket from Meenapur. Komal Singh is the daughter of LJP MP Veena Devi and has been active in the area for the last two years.
Ticket to Ajay Kushwaha from JDU from Meenapur
The party has given another chance to Ajay Kushwaha from Meenapur. NDA’s claim on both these seats has become stronger. In Saran district, JDU has released the list of its candidates for Ekma, Manjhi and Parsa assembly constituencies. Former Ekma MLA Manoranjan Singh alias Dhumal Singh has got the ticket, while from Manjhi seat, former MP Prabhunath Singh’s son and former Chapra RJD MLA Randhir Kumar Singh has been made the candidate. Outgoing MLA Chhotalal Rai, who left RJD from Parsa and joined JDU, has got the ticket. Jan Suraj Party has made Dr. Santosh Singh its candidate from Tarapur assembly constituency. Dr. Santosh is a well-known pediatrician.
