Kedarnath Dham Closed: Today, after the prayers at Kedarnath Dham, the main gates were closed at around 8.30 pm. After this, the doors of Yamunotri Dham will also be closed at 12 noon.

Kedarnath Dham Closed: From today, darshan of Kedarnath Dham will be completely stopped. The doors of Gangotri Dham were closed last Wednesday. Today, after the prayers at Kedarnath Dham, the main gates were closed at around 8.30 pm. After this, the doors of Yamunotri Dham will also be closed at 12 noon, for which preparations for the puja are going on. The doors of Badrinath Dham will also be closed on 25th November. Let us tell you that these temples are being closed for winter.

CM Dhami visited

Before the doors were closed, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Baba at Kedarnath Dham. He posted a post on Instagram and shared the live telecast of the darshan of the eve Aarti. On the last day of darshan, a flood of devotees were seen in the temple. Baba Kedar’s mobile idol cart left for Omkareshwar temple, Ukhimath for winter. Let us tell you that this year more than 17 lakh devotees visited Kedarnath Dham.

This is how worship was done

Today, due to the closure of the temple, Baba Kedar was worshiped as per the rituals. Devotees took last darshan till 4 in the morning. Lord Shiva was worshiped from five to six o’clock. Baba was covered with ashes, grains, fruits, Rudraksh etc. After this, the door of the sanctum sanctorum was closed at six o’clock. After one and a half hour, the main gate of the temple was closed at 8.30.

Worship will be held in Omkareshwar temple for six months

Baba’s Chal-Vigraha Doli will reach Guptkashi for night rest via Rampur, Phata, Narayakoti. After this, Omkareshwar Temple will leave for Ukhimath for the winter season. Baba will be worshiped here daily for six months. After the closure of Gangotri Dham, Kedarnath Dham and Yamunotri Dham, the doors of Badrinath will also be closed on 25th November. With this the Char Dham Yatra will come to an end for the winter season.
