At the same time, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Friday that the creation of Uttarakhand was not a sudden event, rather it was the result of years of tireless struggle, immense sacrifice and martyrdom of thousands of agitators. Also, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the formation of the state, a Silver Jubilee Celebration Parade was organized at Dehradun Police Lines. While addressing the public, CM Dhami said that on this historic day, I salute those heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the creation of the state of Uttarakhand. He further said that I also remember those heroes of the police force who sacrificed their lives to maintain peace in the society.
PM Modi will give a gift to the state
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Dehradun to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of the formation of Uttarakhand. During this, the Prime Minister will release a commemorative post and address a public meeting. On the occasion of Foundation Day, PM Modi will also inaugurate various development projects worth more than Rs 8,000 crore, including inaugurating projects worth more than Rs 930 crore and laying the foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 7,200 crore. All these projects are related to various sectors including drinking water, irrigation, technical education, energy, urban development, sports and skill development.
