DUSOL Foreign Language Courses: School of Learning (SOL) of Delhi University gives children an opportunity to do distance learning. Those children who want to study further while working can take admission in DUSOL. You can also learn foreign languages in Deusol. If you also want to enhance your skills by learning a new language, then you can do a part time course from DUSOL and learn these languages sitting at home. Let us know in which languages DUSOL provides certificate and diploma courses.
Which languages can you learn?
According to the official website of DU, DUSOL offers certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses in French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Romansh and Spanish. In fact, on behalf of DUSOL, these courses are certified by the Department of Germanic and Romance and the Department of East Asian Studies. The admission process for DUsol Foreign Language Diploma course will be completely online. The special thing is that any student can apply for admission in these diploma courses. For example, students of other universities including DU can also take admission in these courses.
Qualification for admission
Certificate- Candidates who have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or any equivalent examination recognized with at least 45% marks are eligible to apply. Admission will be given in order of merit on the basis of degree/certificate in each category given below.
Diploma- Candidates who have passed the Delhi University Certificate Examination in any language or any equivalent examination recognized as such are eligible to apply for admission to the Diploma course in that language. Admissions will be made strictly in order of merit in the respective certificate course examination. Candidates who have obtained their certificate from any other institution or have obtained it one year or more before the year of admission will have to appear for the admission test.
Candidates who have passed the Diploma Examination in the concerned language of Delhi University or any examination recognized equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for admission to Advanced Diploma Course in the concerned language. Candidates who have taken Diploma in Language from any other institution or have taken it one year or more before the year of admission will have to appear for the admission test.
