Bhagavad Gita was once going to be banned in Russia
You will be surprised to know that there was once a controversy going on in Russia over the most sacred book of Sanatan Dharma. In 2011, there was a demand in Russia to ban the translated version of Gita, which also included the commentary. In the court of Tomsk in the Russian province of Siberia, the petitioners had demanded to ban the Bhagavad Gita, calling it extremist and violent. At that time there was anger in India and Russia regarding this. However, the court later rejected that petition. Today the wheel of time turned and PM Modi gifted Geeta written in Russian language to the Russian President.
Modi-Putin came in the same car
PM Modi himself reached Delhi airport to receive Putin. He hugged Putin. A cultural program was also presented to welcome Putin. After reaching Delhi, PM Modi and Russian President Putin left the airport in a car. Both of them sitting in the same car like friends gives the message of close friendship between India and Russia to the world.
