All the guarantees of the Grand Alliance will be implemented as soon as it comes to power. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the grand alliance government will liberate Bihar from 20 years of helpless rule. Kharge said that now migration will stop, darkness will be removed from the future of the youth, tomorrow will be bright for every household! We will end injustice and change Bihar through social justice. The Congress President said that Dalits, Mahadalits, tribals, backward, extremely backward, economically weaker sections and minorities will get their rights. He said that there will be economic upliftment of women, farmers, youth, every section of the society.
People of Bihar will change the face of the state
While sharing some guarantees of the Grand Alliance, he said that the people of Bihar have set out to change the face of the state. We will restore the pride of Bihar. We guarantee, we will make it possible. Congress general secretary and communication in-charge Jairam Ramesh said that this time the grand alliance government is certain in Bihar. He said that as soon as he comes to power, the 5-year guarantee of the Grand Alliance will be implemented for Bihar. Ramesh listed 20 guarantees of the grand alliance, such as a job for every household in Bihar and a government job for every family. He told that the Grand Alliance has promised monthly assistance of Rs 2,500 to women, free electricity up to 200 units, gas cylinder for Rs 500, free bus service for women, Rs 30,000 salary for Jeevika Didis, Rs 1,500 monthly pension for the elderly, Rs 3,000 monthly pension for the disabled and free medical treatment up to Rs 25 lakh.

Ramesh also said that the Grand Alliance has also promised that EBC/EWS reservation will be increased from 20% to 30%. Scheduled Tribe reservation will also be increased. He further said that the Grand Alliance has also promised special courts for speedy trial of SC/ST atrocities cases. Extremely Backward Classes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act will be passed. The most backward and landless sections will be given land leases for collective farming. The law increasing the reservation limit to 50% will be included in the 9th Schedule of the Constitution and a special SIT will be constituted to recover the money stuck in the Sahara. Ramesh also highlighted the Grand Alliance’s promises to provide hostels and free medical treatment for journalists, life insurance of Rs 10 lakh and health insurance of Rs 15 lakh for lawyers, implementing the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for government employees, guaranteeing support price for farmers’ produce and providing 24-hour free electricity for farming.
